The Comparison Between Fabric Air Duct and Galvanized Iron Air Duct (Part I)

图片
Due to the problems and inconvenience caused by the use of traditional iron air duct, the combination of traditional iron air duct and fabric air duct began to be applied in central air-conditioning in large space. Such combination will not only achieve the purpose of environmental protection and energy saving, but also exert the effect of central air-conditioning to the maximum extent. Now let's talk about the differences between the two duct systems in usage and performance. (1) The convenience of construction galvanized iron duct is suitable for large size processing, and the mechanical processing of it is convenient, but the processing of small-size galvanized ac duct is slow and takes a long cycle because it is not inconvenient to use mechanical equipment. In addition, it is difficult to control the installation precision during the construction of pre insulated galvanised ac ducts; other accessories of the same size are not easy to produce; the installation is difficult ...

Durkeesox  is an integrated A/C Duct integrated solution provider with a complete set of product portfolio. Insusox system is pre-insulated air duct  system serving as air transmission duct above the ceiling. How to Design Nanosox System There is no essential difference between Nanosox system and traditional air duct system design, especially spiral duct. The designer could make proposal by Design manual or Durkeesox proprietary I-sox software. The design solution can be also provided by Durkeesox engineering team. How to Design Insusox System With BIM concept, all duct segments and components of insusox sysytem are designed, producted and installed in modularized and standardized way. After reading this, you can aslo know how to design hvac ductwork .

The Comparison Between Fabric Air Duct and Galvanized Iron Air Duct (Part II)

(4) The influence on floor height An insulation layer needs to be wrapped outside the galvanized iron air duct on site, and the insulation layer often requires replacement when carrying out maintenance, so in addition to the height of the duct itself, a certain space for installation and maintenance should be reserved. The fabric air duct itself has the thermal insulation effect, so it can be installed close to the roof without reserving the space for installation. The measured results show that the use of fabric air duct can save about 5 -10cm in height compared with the use of galvanized iron air duct. (5) The service life It is easy for galvanized iron sheet to rust in a humid environment, and the glass fiber, another kind of insulation material commonly used in galvanized iron air duct, will become brittle after moisture absorption, therefore, the service life of galvanized iron air duct is about 5 to 10 years. While the textile air duct has a service life of up to 20 years. ...
